Years of mismanagement under Gov. JB Pritzker’s administration have allowed Illinois’ SNAP payment error rate to climb to one of the highest in the nation.
This new statistic is a slap in the face to the families who rely on the SNAP program and to the taxpayers who fund it.
It’s time we address fraud, waste, and abuse and fix one of the highest error rates in the nation.
