Red Bud, IL…State Representative David Friess will be hosting an upcoming Rx Drop-Off event in partnership with the Red Bud Police Department on April 27th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Red Bud Police Department, located at 200 E. Market Street in Red Bud. This event will provide a safe and convenient way for residents to dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired prescription drugs.
“As a community, it’s important that we take proactive steps to ensure the safe disposal of prescription drugs,” Rep. Friess said. “By hosting this Rx Drop-Off event with the Red Bud Police Department, we’re providing a convenient and responsible solution for our residents to dispose of medications they no longer need. Together, we can safeguard our community’s health.”
The is a free outdoor event that will allow participants to remain in their vehicles throughout the drop-off process. To ensure a smooth flow of traffic, drivers are asked to follow the marked lanes when entering and exiting the parking lot.
