In response to the news that the Director of DCFS will be resigning effective December 31st, Rep. Friess released the following statement:
“No child should have to suffer at the hands of a failing state agency. The events of today must be only a first step toward true and sweeping reform within DCFS. I will do everything in my power to continue to advocate for such reform.”
