Rep. Friess’ Women’s Leadership Initiative Hosts Senator Terri Bryant at Midway Luncheon

The Women’s Leadership Initiative team had the pleasure of hosting Senator Terri Bryant at our Midway Luncheon. As well as being our honored quest, Senator Bryant has graciously volunteered her time to be a mentor of one of our students this session.

The mission of the Women’s Leadership Initiative is to educate, inspire, and empower the next generation of female leaders with the core values, attitudes, and skills that are the foundation of quality leadership.

Mentoring helps us to fulfill this mission. A key component of the mentoring program is to provide opportunities for women students to observe, interact with, and learn from outstanding established leaders.

As our future leaders begin the process of discovering the paths in which they would like to travel, the Women’s Leadership Initiative finds great pleasure in providing guidance and resources to help make the process less daunting. Our Mentors communicate with their Mentees weekly and sometimes daily depending on the need.

If you are interested in becoming a Mentor or a Mentee in our next session, which begins in May 2023, please contact Cathy in our district office for more information at 618-282-7284.
